Job Purpose
You will promote Blighter products within the worldwide Defence and Homeland Security community, deliver individual sales targets, and maintain our ‘best-in-class’ reputation. You will close sales with integrators and end users within these markets. You will create and execute a strategy to increase sales and lead major project bids. You will use this capability to help Blighter penetrate new markets.
Position in the organisation (reporting lines)
- Reporting to the Sales Director
- Working as part of a small sales team
Key Accountabilities
- Taking on existing sales opportunities and leads and converting them into orders
- Maintaining records of all activity using our CRM system
- Identify those prospects with the highest PWin factor and closing them
- Traveling extensively within the nominated region, visiting clients, and promoting our products through demonstrations
- Building business relationships with potential new customers
- Help to develop comprehensive programme capture plans
- Maintaining and communicating short and long-term business development plans
- Responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)

- Meet and exceed agreed personal sales order target
- Build pipeline value year on year

Experience/Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a technical discipline or sales role in a related industry
- Ability to obtain UK security clearance
- Full UK Driving licence
